By learning a new language you will be able to communicate with the people who speak it. Speaking another person’s language shows respect for their culture. In fact, people all over the world appreciate it when visitors to their country make an attempt to converse in the local language. You don’t necessarily have to be well-versed in a foreign language to create a positive impression on its speakers. In many cases just learning to say the most common expressions such as ‘hello’ and ‘please’ will help.
